Surface foam-cleaning

The purpose of cleaning is to remove dirt (= a combination of feces, grease, proteines, mineral deposits,...) and microorganisms that are protected by the dirt. This step is essential to assure an efficient disinfection afterwards.

Bacteria, which are covered by biofilm and dirt, cannot be eradicated by a  disinfectant. Disinfectants and water cannot remove the biofilm. Biofilm needs to be removed by a professional foaming detergent, with a strong dirt-penetration power.

The dirt contains large quantity of microbes (1 gram of organic matter can support the growth of 10^9-12 bacteria)

Using a professional detergent such as Farnax^®-Clean is the most effective approach to remove microbes, it can reach >80% removal.

Practical set-up:

Obtain optimal  results with Farnax^®-Clean by using a foaming lance, connected with a high pressure machine. The foaming lance mixes the concentrated liquid Farnax^®-Clean with water and air, and so transforms it to a sticky, strong foam with maximum contact on the dirty surface. This foam has several advantages: 

• Adherence, which increases contact time and so increases effectiveness.

• Penetration through the fatty, protein containing  biofilm

• Economic in use: less time and less water needed to obtain a better result
