Cleaning waterlines

During the production cycle, a biofilm is continuously formed in the waterlines. This biofilm is a matrix structure of adhering pollution and bacteria in the tubes. This biofilm, together with mineral deposits can block the nipples, reduces the pipe volume and hence reduces the water flow by 60 to 70%. The biofilm also adversely affects vaccines and vitamins administered through the water, which leads to health problems and production losses.

In order to give your young animals (day old chicks, piglets, calves,...) an optimal start and obtain healthy, highly productive animals, the water system needs to be cleaned thoroughly in between 2 production cycles.

With Farnax^® Delta, we offer a combined approach of effective biofilm removal and powerful disinfection along the entire length of the waterlines.

Solutions:

• Cleaning and disinfection of the drinking water system, during empty house periode with Farnax^®Delta. The reason why Farnax Delta is so effective against biofilm is because its 3-way action:
